July 4 and 5 kicks off the new Edition of Emergente with the Northern Selection: at Villa Terzaghi, the Maestro Martino cooking school chaired by Carlo Cracco.
The 2024 Edition will have three events as usual: the Northern Selection, the Central-Southern Selection to be held on October 3 and 4, 2023 at the University of Flavors in Perugia, Italy, and the Finale to be held at ALMA, a culinary school at the Reggia di Colorno in early 2024. The top 4 chefs and pizza chefs from each of the two selections will be admitted to the Finale. Deciding the finalists will be the various juries composed of journalists and industry experts.
EmergentePizza will be held in two stages: on Tuesday, July 4, contestants will prepare the dough for the next day and will have a margherita pizza as their theme. The next day the challenge will be free-themed with the dough prepared the day before.
